Alienware with about 2 Msi dragon stickers is the best laptop you can get for 2k.

So i called alienware and i negotiated a alienware 17 with 16gb ram, 256 gb ssd + 1tb 7200 rpm and a gtx 980m 4gb wich they usually sell for 2399$cnd(without added 256 gb ssd) currently are on sale for 2199cdn (without added 256 gb ssd) and they re whiling to let me have the 256 gb ssd for free as long as a 240W power supply instead of a 180W is this a good deal?

just go on shopbot.ca or something, and find a 1.8k range MSI laptop with 980m in it & spend ~150-200 on 256gb SSD
still ends up cheaper than alienware and better imo

Your point? I saw CND, and I ignored it.

The fact remains that you will still have no idea what to order, and you'll either make a new thread or come back to this one. You will ask, someone will tell you, and by the time you're ready to order, you'll go back to Alienware because you still think you're getting a killer deal after "negotiating" the price down. You'll come back to this thread, triumphantly say you picked the Alienware, and we will laugh at you.

After reading this, to avoid the embarrassment, you will PM someone, most probably Secksii, he will tell you what to order, and you will end up doing everything I just said.

You will deny all of this, attempt to make a piss poor comeback, and you will STILL do everything I just said.
