7 is great. when you have 7 or 8, you get a free upgrade to 10 for a year. pirated or not.

the build you posted above looks good for what you need.

Too much wall of text here.

How much are you comfortable spending? I know you have your budget, but the gap is big enough for different setups.

Is $700-$800 CDN more like it?

I can spend more but the lowest i can get away with is preferred.

Im after value over flat out performance.

I understand, but I'm looking for an actual number to work with.

Well i was willing to spend the psoted budget, but now that i feel happy with the build rapture started out for me something in that price point 650-750, would be cool to see options, however i am pretty happy with what im looking at right now as a jumping off point.

One the first the ram and Mobo look incompatible or will the ram just scale down? and still work

Center one looks good,
what differences will i see though? are the 960 and 270 on par but nvidia vs radeon?
the only swap that is looking slightly attractive is up to the 8 core.

Mind you i know little about how much ill experience.

I take it you think i can save of some dollars and not get the corsair 200R going for a cheaper case, Will I need the additional fan (other cases come with 1 vs corsair's 2) adding another 20 or w/e to the case price?

Last one more gpu than i need and more than i want to pay for.

And this is exactly why I was asking you the actual amount you would be comfortable spending. Price-to-performance builds are exactly what you're willing to pay for.

Any of the builds up and down will work. I prefer the first one. People will complain about the motherboard being cheap, but they most likely are talking out of their asses and have no actual experience with them.

I think ill take your advice on the CPU upgrade, but with the sale, rebate, free shipping and me being cheap im going to stay at the 960

K, but like I said, you get exactly what you pay for. Whatever build you end up with, this...
