skylake isn't gonna be like a game changer upgrade from devil's canyon, like all the previous intel gen's. The most noticeable change would be being able to use ddr4 rams imo.
it would be worth the wait if ur not in a rush needing a comp, since new tech > old tech but u need it asap
also unless ur a pc enthusiast that uses it to its full potential and most people aren't. They're in it for streaming/gaming/vid editing everyday popular use

Skylake isn't going to do shit for a gaming PC, same goes for DDR4.

Especially for the typical pc user that keeps the same PC for many years, It will be more future proof.

And it should be a bigger difference than you think, Seeing how this is two generations after devils canyon.
