For 1500-1600$ I wouldn't settle for anything less than a laptop with a 980M off Xoticpc

How does that affect picture quality, I am looking for a crisp picture. For instance I have a macbook pro but it isn't with the digital retinal display, I saw a buddy who had the digital retinal macbook and the picture quality was so much crisper.

Thanks for the post but those are a little higher than I'd like to go on a laptop at the moment.

Ghot is a regular here who has been known to suggest builds/solutions that are 200-500+ dollars over budget.

Anyone else have any other build options?

From what I have seen so far I think I am leaning towards an MSI.
