i7 and bumping up your ram to 16gb depends on what you are doing with visual studios and how much you multitask with all your "other" programs

Update, I've bought my comp parts and built it but when I turn it on it runs for about 5-10 secs and then turns off......


I have no idea what the hell I'm doing wrong

LOL fixed that problem... noobie mistake but

my monitors don't want to turn on ... says no signal

Reseat the RAM.
Make sure all power connectors are properly inserted (CPU, 24pin, GPU, etc).

it was the ram lol


getting no signal on my monitors... what could be the problem?

ones currently hooked up by the blue cord

Wtf is the blue cord? Cable color doesn't matter, but the connectors vary. VGA has a blue connector if thats what you mean.

What monitor are you using? You should be using DVI, HDMI, or DP.

I have 2 Asus VS239H

the blue was the VGA.... should i use DVI and hook it to the gcard?

... plugged in the keyboard and it started working lol?

I have no idea how to install the network driver that I have .... I have the disks and under LAN in product specifications it says

Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2201 LAN Chip

I tried going into the network folder of Atheros from the motherboard disk

just get a message saying Cannot find AR81 Family Ethernet controller on your system
