weird. last time i tried to plug the second monitor in thru the DVI-I Dual port I had issues. I'll give it another shot tonight.

might be defective. you could try using the display port on your video card. youll get the same quality. hdmi is limited to 60hz

Try swapping cables, Sometimes they're bad.

dvi-d is digital, Dvi-i is digital & analog.

Single link Dvi can actually support 4k resolution, but at a measly 17hz.

Dual link can do double that, So 4k @ 34hz


That being said, An unpatched dvi-i or dvi-d single link could run 1440p @ about 50hz~ Higher if the clock limit is patched.

Dual Link dvi-i/d can do 120hz+ on 1440p

You're mixing up dual link & single link.

Dvi-i is the same thing as Dvi-d for digital purposes.
