no, because of the ports being on top of the case

http://www.ncix.com/detail/fractal-design-core-2300-atx-9a-94343-1304.htm?affiliateid=7474144
also has ports on top of the case, much better build quality too
cheaper too since it's on a good sale atm

Thats better, but if you want a full sized board, you can get the ASRock H97 Anniversary for the same price.

-The Fractal Design Core 2300 ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 380mm long, but video cards over 200mm may block drive bays. Since the EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+ Video Card is 257mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

could this be a problem?

e/ is there a big dif between a fullsize and a micro one?

You'll just have to remove a set of drive bays for the video card to fit. It isn't a problem. You'll have other bays to put the drives in.

As for the motherboard size, it isn't a necessity. It just looks better to have a full size board in a bigger case. An ATX board also has 2 more RAM slots than a mATX. There are other possible differences like SLI or Crossfire capability, but even some regular boards can't so that isn't specific to the size.

You'll be fine with either of those two boards for the price. It just depends on which ever you like better.
