Decided I'm gonna go ahead and get the 970.

How's this build look? http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/gnXjCJ

skylake won't be anything special imo

Will be around the price of current gen intel, DDR4, Faster all around etc.

I'm not saying its going to be a MASSIVE upgrade from current gen.. As we're still waiting on benchmarks to show its performance... Just why upgrade to current gen intel, When new gen comes out soon?

8120 is a shitty cpu, so it'll be a good upgrade investment

Agreed. It won't be a huge upgrade, but Intel is at least consistent in their processor iterations. I believe since Sandy bridge each iteration has been a 10-15% improvement and what ~25% in IGPU.

Couldn't do it unfortunately. Didn't have an 8-pin required for the video card :(

Just finished building it but problem is I had to buy a different case cus the one I wanted was sold out. And my cooler doesn't fit (off by like half an inch).

Anyone know of a good cooler that's smaller than the hyper 212?

Can't make up your mind or what? :D

are your eyes on disability too?

970 is the better option, but it is not the best bang for buck. the 290 is.
