youll be fine with a $1000 budget. it doesnt seem like you play any games that require and expensive computer.

well im buying now, setting it up and moving in 1.5-2 weeks now. so id like to get it now and set it up prior to then

prob going with intel though...no idea what the difference is but ive just been told that its better.
