lots of "gamers" use IKEA desks. the leg pieces and table tops all work together. you can essentially make that bitch as big as you want, decide if you want L or no L, can make it more sturdy by getting a drawer unit or two ( replaces legs, is same height, will feel more solid ), different color tops, can add mini shelfs ( like a monitor shelf to have them elevated ), etc etc. its an excellent choice, but i would only do it if you have an IKEA nearby to buy the parts. otherwise shipping not only costs more, but runs a risk of damaging the table tops.

otherwise, desks are not so universal. really just depends on what is in your area, etc.

I need one that fits 2 x 24 in LED monitors comfortable - I also want surface space but not sure on a L desk

Also want one where there's a place for speakers/place to put tower

i got myself a custom cut oak for the "table top" sanded it, spray painted it silver and applied clear polyurethane on it
and went to ikea to purchase 4 SJUNNE legs.
it could technically fit 5 monitors, using the table to share with my gf's comp and my own with 2 monitors each.

for only 2x 24 monitors though.. a premade table top from ikea would work np

I want one altogether... and i can't do L because I don't have the space

Well bro, all ya gotta do with those links is screw the legs on and put some Polyurethane on it.
Even all together computer desks don't "come" altogether.

You pretty much need at minimum a 72" long desk, maybe even 84"...those are hard to come by for cheap.

/e Here's mine it's 62" and that's a 30" monitor, and it cost $323 and took me 2-3 hours to build from the "kit"....the parts I linked above, will run about $250, take 30 minutes to assemble and is 74" long and 25.5 inches deep.

Or...for $60 more you can get it 98" long

/e If you just want one ready made...I would just go to your local Staples and see what they have...take a pickup truck ;)
