Yeah and the R9 series are fookin space heaters. They should be marketed as home appliances. Ofc, it could be worse, they could have horribad drivers....oh wait, they do. :/

Still for similar perf & 100 bucks less makes it best bang for buck.
Otherwise amd cpus wouldn't be either since they are warm too

it's funny, because it's not like nvidia has always been cool n quiet. shall we go back to fermi release? and if memory serves me correct, 680 was also a hot whore.

i'm sure AMD will get they're act together, atleast i hope anyways. and 65c give or take on a flagship gpu isn't a big deal imo.

Pick up a 270 or 270x. Should be 150. 280 is also an option in that price range sometimes.

That seems like a good price. I don't want to be spending too much since I may be rebuilding a PC within a year or so.

I'm also hearing 750ti or 660ti. So how are those compared to the 270?

All those should be able to run my games well right?

Just because you're building a new comp in a year or so, doesn't mean you have to replace w/e vid card you get now. :)

My nvidia card runs 30 degrees cooler than my amd. But that 270x was plenty of card for running d3, csgo, Darksiders 2.
