just about everything, but your hard drive & mobo are parts i try and be extra careful with. just my two cents.

I never use a static wrist strap and I always build comps on a table that sits on a carpeted floor. The trick is, put the power supply in first, for two reasons.

1. The PSU is heavy, you don't wanna be trying to put it in with the delicate things like the motherboard, already in the case.
2. Once it's in the case, and plugged into the wall, but turned off....the ground from the wall outlet is now on all metal parts of the case. So, as Toilet said, you can just touch the case to discharge any static electricity.


@ OP... the trick is, just don't touch solder joints, gold edge connectors etc., and you'll be fine.
