I actually work in IT... just don't do a lot of hardware stuff :X When I read about installing a new cpu fan it said to make sure the connectors were correct but maybe it just meant if you have a 4 pin connector to make sure you buy a fan with 4 pins so you can make use of the speed control. Makes sense.

no one i know im a consultant never said im licensed or anything.

you dont need to be atested or given a piece of paper to be a consultant, i consult people at my home and at clients and on forums.
