No need to spend 1500$ for those games, do you plan on streaming or doing any video editing?

for the games youve listed, a GTX 960 will be sufficient. cpu and ram is overkill, but it gives you room to do other cpu-heavy tasks.

I understand that it's overkill for the games I listed, but I don't want to limit myself to those games either.

And yes, I will more than likely be streaming.

The build you posted is a prebuilt right?
What was the price?

Do you have a Microcenter near you?
You can get great combos for mobo+cpu

a video card upgrade will be necessary. personally, id get the GTX970 Strixx or Twin Frozr. Windforce and ACX are good as well.

other than that, your computer is a beast.

the prebuilt looks to be a really good deal. especially with the warranty. how much will it cost to upgrade the video card to a 970?

So total would be 1311.99 after tax.
But the closest microcenter is like a 6 hour drive away :/

At least I'm on the right track as far as cost goes.

Think 8GB of RAM would be ok with the motherboard/CPU I have?
I wanted it to be as balanced as possible.

Thanks, I thought so as well.
Upgrade to 970 would be $128 more

$128 seemed like a good amount, so I was planning on holding out for a bit.
Maybe wait until the new generation of video cards came out and get one of those.. idk
