If you're in the yolo business, get 16gb ram.
I played runescape a bit last year, had some trash 1333 8gb ram and it wasnt enough. In your case i would go wirh 2133+ 8 gb or 16 gb 1600+.

Just my thought tho. Havent loaded runescape in a bit tho so idk if it's been better optimized or not.

Also, if u shut off comp when ur done using it toss in a ssd.

I would go 8320 with ssd, gtx 970, 16gb ram. Should fit 1k budget and the comp would last a long time provided u don't get into any crazy titles in the distant future (3-4 years+)

you'll get arguments with the 16 gb being useless cause overkill, if you want just get that 8gb set from NCIXUS, you should be fine. like i said, my ram was trash ram, mushkin is great.

if you have first hand experience on runescape that 8GB wasn't enough, then i'd say fuck what other people say lol. so 16GB RAM, with a 970 instead, with secksii's build and your golden OP. more vRAM will be helpful for the future. not really NEEDED right now, but games are using more of it as time goes on. as far as the ram speed, 1600MHz should be perfectly fine.
