You can max skyrim with a 260x, a 100 dollar card. Skyrim requires more CPU power than GPU power to run anyway.

Used some of the parts shaft said and tweaked a little. Removed SSD.

In terms of performance, this will do everything you want is aimed at a more casual use, I probably would step down from the i5 and go with the newest athlon, as it performs really well on games and is priced really well. It performs a bit worse than the new pentium in games.

rapture was kind enough to put this build together for me

decided to go with a little bit less because i dont play any hardcore games and more or less just want to be able to multitask better without lag using pandora/itunes/ etc

yeah i dont want to have to do that

is that a good processor? i was just skimming through the reviews and most of them say it runs pretty hot
