Where would be the best place to get a OS... And which one would i want? i was thinking Windows 7 ( not 8 or 8.1)

They do the same thing.. 8.1 runs better but people with a disease called Ghot don't like 8.1

oh i was told 8 and 8.1 are for touch screen/apps and 7 is more for internet browsing/ gaming

Not true at all

Sure windows 8 is more app based, but it does tend to run better
