Nice case.

EDIT: And that PSU is a piece of shit.

I've had great luck with it, use it in my HTPC, and have 2 friends with the exact same one, works great

my bad, copied link too soon, i think first build is better now, added up too quick

Until you notice the coil whine that the non-modular CX430s have.

EDIT: And to the rest of you, who's bought stuff from OutletPC and SuperBiiz?

just a couple changes that i liked, 1600 ram and once you go nvidia, you can tone down the psu

$2 more expencive, and an extra $10 more in mir, but you get a 960

/e $12 more, didn't see the amazon tag, keep in mind, there is 15.99 in shipping on that case as well

something wrong with your math sir,
if i change the 270x to a 960, it's $554.93 before MIR, and $537.91 after.

yours is $567.92 before MIR, and $519 after, though i intentionally picked amazon instead of outletPC since OP wants to avoid MIR, then mine would be $527.91 after MIR. Which is like $8 more after MIRs for better PSU, and ram, otherwise mine is cheaper by $12 before MIR.

Alternative Intel build with an R9 280 for better performance:

i3-4330, which will run most games faster than the suggested FX and is more futureproof, since the mainboard will support Intel's next gen CPUs should you ever decide to upgrade.

I'll take more actual cores and OC capabilities, thanks.

I'll take current real world performance, upgradeability and no overheating issues without an aftermarket cooler while trying to benefit from OC capabilities, thanks.

Other than that, nice build ofc.
