ok thanks again, I just figured since it had been a few years than why not :P but if it's still a good rig I'll roll with it, may get new gpu like suggested :)

Those Samsung chips the same/similar to the Samsung Wonder? I'd try overclocking the ram and see what comes of it.

I thought about that, but I don't think they're the same ones, which is why I recommended the change.
