4690k + R9 280x
Total should be about $950 after tax + shipping and Mail-In-Rebates that aren't listed on PCP from NCIX and DirectCanada. Before MIR's its $980, including tax and shipping.

Are there any other cpus I can use that will also be alright? In case I need to buy cheaper. Maybe a i5 4490, i5 4590 or a fx 8k? And the graphics card can I go with a nvidia geforce 750?

You can if you want to, but you'll have to play the games on lower settings (as far as the gpu). For the cpu, I wouldn't bother getting a locked version of the i5. You can get the FX-8320e with motherboard and it will save you about $60-80 total before tax.

thanks a lot man, I don't really mind not playing on the highest settings, just as long as I don't have to play on the absolute lowest settings like I did for the past 10 years. Hmm, do you think this build would be able to run BF4 on at least high with constant 60 fps no msaa?

You'll average 55ish fps on Ultra with a 280x

Re-opening this thread, I was about to checkout at ncix until I realised that I forgot to add the ram and the HDD and that would have been over my budget, my budget is 850$ including Windows 8.1. I want to at least be able to play csgo on ultra graphics and maybe some new games like BF hardline on high
