May bottleneck a higher end GPU slightly in a handful of games, but even then it wouldn't be extremely noticeable.

hmm all my games run fine except Watch dogs, which seems very poorly optimized.

wonder if i find a used 6850 and xfire them?

id need to compare xfire 6850s vs say like a gti 750 or 770..

Im just not sure about xfire cause in crossfire the second pci-e runs in 4x...

used 6850 would be like 70$, thats if im able to find one...and its kinda sketchy tobuy used gpus imo...

new 750 ti, after rebates , 135$, lets say 150 total to my door, minus 75 if I can sell my old 6850...75-100 dollars total

hmmm

Also, what would a great cooler for a stable 3.5 to 4 Ghz OC?

This?

How about if you got these? http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/y4ztK8

Crossfire HD 6850's will have horrible scaling, I'd still prefer a GTX 750ti over it. Overclocking your CPU will be the most beneficial gain, so either way, you should buy a cooler or spend more on a new setup altogether.

E: Buying both from DirectCanada = $173.29

EE: Performance reference between a single GTX 750ti and HD 6850

the more I think about it, I think I will work on cable management, buy a new heatsink prolly a coolermaster cause they good bang for buck, clean cpu and put new paste, format, OC to like 3.5, test on prime95 for couple hours..

And try to last couple more months. One day Ill simply get a whole new rig..As much as I love buying Pc parts and play with em, it wouldnt be a worthy purchase...

I would get a better case and PSU.

As for a CPU cooler...I would get the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, assuming it will fit in the case. The Hyper 212 is 6.2" tall or 160mm, from surface of CPU to interior of left case side panel.

/e In all honesty, I would just consider a whole new comp.

This guy just came up with a very nice build...no crappy parts...

my pc works for now, no money for a new setup, simply trying to make it run at its best to make it last couple more months

I'm well aware a 5-6 years old pc is more than obsolete hah
