your 560 is 3-4 generations old.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sHWdmG -- gtx 760 (1 generation behind 970)
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GTB9GX -- gtx 770 (1 generation behind 970)
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LZVRnQ -- gtx 970  (newest, most recently released)
i would like to add that best "value" would be between the 760 and 970 with the prices shown on the link.
all depends on what you wanna spend on yourself ;)

the 200-250 build could be 2 things
Option #1 Overclock potential: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/n8FVbv
Option #2 Non-overclock: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sryMmG

Option #2 offers slightly/hardly noticeable performance gains over option #1 if it is not overclocked :)

Thanks Tom!
I'll probably go with the 760 since it'll be more in my budget and I don't really play anything more than my current card can handle. I can run BF4 on ultra just fine with it, it's always nice to have an upgrade.
I'll most likely go with option 2 because I prefer intel, plus I have no intentions of OCing.
For the price difference, it won't be that big of a deal to go with option 2 over option 1.

Does anyone think that me building a wooden case is a bad idea?

Or possibly building it inside of a briefcase/suitcase/hard carrying case.
Good or bad idea?

Do you guys think it would be worth it for me to wait around for cyber monday/black friday deals?

I'm planning on applying for the newegg preferred account (newegg credit card), and depending on my approved limit, I'm slightly increasing my overall budget.
I'm hoping I can get new ram for myself, and give him my old ram.
My ram is: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model - Can I use this with this motherboard?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157483
I have a P8P67 Pro mobo, what ram should I go for? I'd like to go up to 16gb (no reason behind it, but if I can get a good price I'd like to upgrade.

I don't mind using all 4 of my ram slots if it saves me some money, so long as I get the right ram and it'll be an upgrade lol.

I'm considering going with this case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119265&cm_re=lan_box-_-11-119-265-_-Product
Mostly because it looks like it can be easily portable, and the space he has for a case built under his desk I think it would fit perfect and be out of the way.

I'm going to end up spending a bit extra so long as I get approved for enough on the card, since I'll be buying it all from newegg, so I may have to alter the PSU to something else or just pay the difference. [e] Looks like that PSU is out of stock on newegg anyway. :[
Anything wrong with this PSU? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438016

This is what I currently have in my newegg cart: [UPDATED]

I just need ram I think and I'm good to go.
I'm going to look around for some combos to reduce the price, I think I saw the case+psu combo somewhere.
The original combo for ram+cpu that was in the build #2 you had posted (Penguins) is no longer available.

I found two sets of ram in the current email that may be good for me to buy, let me know what you think:

The sniper series is only $10 more, would it be worth it to get that?

Can save $100 by getting the Pentium G3258 with a cooler and a different case.

all on sale with combos + rebates :P
you also don't need 16 gb ram, it's overkill. i have 16 gb ram and it is 300% overkill lol

7 chrome tabs, skype, msi afterburner, hon, css, diablo 3.... all open and a couple more things and i'm at 7.9 gb ram used.
who has that many games open?

NO ONE! I just opened for this example lol
