Then unless you want to upgrade your PSU or underclock your new GPU, I wouldn't get anything above a 750ti.

I'm just looking for something that will run the newer games on minimal of 60fps

My current card probably wouldn't even run Advanced War on 20.

I play another game called heroes and generals and I get a max of like 28 fps with this card which is complete ass.

I'm in the US btw

New Hampshire to be more specific.

And i'm hoping to possibly pick up a second monitor not that I know how to even run two but w/e

In your price range normally I would suggest a good brand r9 280 and OC it. However, since you're only running 450W you're going to be restricted to NVIDIA.

If you're in US and can up your budget to $330-350, a 970 would be a great investment and you wouldn't need to replace your PSU just yet.

Ya sorry, I wasn't looking at 270/X at first, didn't realize how little they pulled.

So basically with my understanding right now it's looking like I should just purchase a 750ti

Correct?

And do I need to keep my old graphics card to run a second monitor or no?

No, I'm sorry. A 270X or 760 should be fine, especially on a PSU that new.

e/ And no you won't need your old GPU.

Is there really much of a difference between a 270x and a 750ti

They don't seem to have much of a difference?

Both 2g ddr5

and I only buy from newegg so no worries on links.

And both of these cards will be compatible with my mother board right?

I'm not gonna order this and find out i'm short on sockets?

you wouldnt want to pull too much out of the power supply with a new graphics card. as suggested earlier, you should upgrade your power supply.

the 750 ti isnt a bad choice. id get a graphics card that doesnt require a pci 6 pin power cable. something like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-02gp43751kr

your psu doesnt seem reliable. the efficiency rating isnt even listed.

I'll just stick with the 750ti to be on the safe side then..

If I spend a little extra on a better card the need to buy a power supply may come sooner rather than later.
