I'll help you out... just gimme a bit to finish my lesson plan for next week.

Any help is appreciated. I do have an old monitor and keyboard I just remembered but probably near a decade old.

If a new monitor would make a huge difference then I'd say include it in budget. As far as keyboards I believe my old one is fine still so if it makes it easier negate the cost of it.

Check craigslist for monitors/keyboards.

you don't need a good keyboard at your price point.
it is not unheard of to find a 22.5 inch 1080p monitor for $60 on craigslist (go me :P ) so I would look there for monitors FIRST, before running out and buying one. typically they range from 100-200 depending on brand/quality/allthatjazz

and i still recommend finding monitor + keyboard on CL, that would allow you to upgrade your gfx card :)
same as if you can somehow manage to get a "free copy" of windows ;)

Idk they complained about it being too small and were vague beyond that. They don't particularly know much about comps but have each built their own. I would imagine any post here as as lot more credible than my friends' opinion heh.

I will probably go with this build and possibly the better graphics as well, been saving $ too long to not upgrade from my damn lap top!

one of the friends is gona buy someone else this same build if it works out well :D
