Overclock that CPU as high as you can or it will be a large bottleneck. For reference, 4.2ghz would compare to a stock i5-2500k.

I can't get the moniter to display anything anymore on the cheaper PC, what can I do?

I changed the video card

Power plugged in to the card?

you do drivers?

I can't do drivers because I get no screen, moniter is not being detected

Problem solved, removed ram and put it back and reset

can someone walk me through on how to remove old video card drivers?

Guru 3d has a program called display driver uninstaller (ddu).
