650 leaves headroom for SLI down the road on the new maxwell architecture with 970s... plus the kingston i chose is a beast

Yes, but you're cutting it down to the wire as far as power goes (for SLI anyway). Its better to be safe than sorry. Besides, you aren't likely to save very much money getting the smaller one. There are two 550+ Watt PSUs that are at least 80+ Bronze cheaper than that EVGA 750 and they're no more than $6 CAD cheaper at the moment.

The build I posted is just left open for future expansion.

Also, @Funion
My Samsung is working fine in my other PC. Still waiting on a new one to come in. I haven't experienced any slowing at all with it.

Stick with a one gpu set up. By the time you think you'll need another gpu to sli/crossfire, a new generation of video cards will be out already. Wouldn't make sense to buy an older gen gpu when there are newer ones out.

not without sli not even close but yeah 650w is not that much over. quality of the psu is what matters the most not all about the watts
a good 650w psu can run that system with 970 sli. but of in sli 750w is good. quality power supply just cost more

DeXa's build is good. If you're looking to save money you can swap out the WC for a Hyper 212 EVO, unless you really plan to push the limits of your CPU's clock.

For PSU's I would rather be safe than sorry... an extra 100W is going to make any sort of difference on your power bill. So give yourself the option to SLI in several years while also taking capacitor degrade into consideration. Get either a 750W tier 2 (EVGA G1, P1, B2, etc) or a 650-750W tier 1 (EVGA G2, P2, etc).

Yeah it looks solid, I would even increase my budget slightly for an Intel Core i7-4790K
