comparing 8 threads to 16 threads

Cause even if you double the AMD prices...the Intel CPU is still a ridiculous price. I guess for some, winning a benchmark is worth it. lol

The 8 vs. 8 thread the AMD is about equal...cept for the price.

intel blows the doors off amd with multi TASKING, multi threaded is another story

I have fx-6300 and intel i7-4790k both are pretty good.

If low budget get AMD put money into GPU

/e Exactly, and a better PSU, case, RAM, SSD, mobo.... etc.


/e Honestly it's really a tossup.


I'm not saying an AMD can compete with a hi end Intel, however...I don't see the NEED for a hi end Intel...cept for bench marks.


Both will play the games adequately..so why spend all the money on the CPU.

AMD is only better in terms of streaming games (assuming this is for a gaming built computer)
