Well I'm planning on doing a CPU test with Prime95, so I'll monitor temperatures whilst doing that just to check the CPU is fine first.

how long has it been running without the gpu? have you noticed any issues since it has been removed?

Like an hour. I've not tried any games or anything though, just going to do a CPU test as I say. What temperatures are dangerous to be exceeding?

I dont mess with temps much but I have a similar cpu as you and under max load from prime 95 you want to be below 80C for sure
under normal use much less.. I don't have exact temps though.. I am sure someone can post some for you though
if idling I would say below 35-40C probably though

That's worrying then. Idling I'm fine, but with Prime95 I was over 95C so I stopped it.
