why do you think geeksquad at bestbuy is doing so well? and then when people actually run into a problem (usually minor) you can just oversell the shit out of it, get them to buy new parts and charge labor fees

ya ive gotten played once, when i got ram for my laptop(i have no idea how to work with laptops) the dude said he had to take my computer like basically all the way apart to put it in..

ends up being just under the panel on the bottom (what i originally thought it was, but he told me different) then charged me like 40 bucks, i got pretty pissed with him

i had my computer fixed by a sort of friend that ran a gaming cafe back in 07 before I got into computers.

The problem was a dorrupt c drive and I had 2x hard drives.

Removed one reinstalled windows and charged my 70$.

Ive never been jipped from computer repair
Only time i got screwed was buying a Macbook for college
