or if you are dead set on doing a full size desktop you really don't have much of a budget once you include the os/monitor

so with that in mind since you can't get a video card this is a much better deal than going with the i3-2100 since its graphics capabilities suck.

I said a GPU is not needed. I should've just said I already have one. It's a gtx 660 (which again I should've mentioned since i need a new power supply and knowing waht gpu I have is essential to picking an adequate power supply. MY bad guys.)

Interesting pre-built. I've seen a couple i3 combo setups on newegg that are DIY. DIY Vs. Pre-built?

DIY kits are usually junk or overpriced.
prebuilts are more junk.

Ergh, that'd be like $30-$40 more, idk if I can pull that... It does score quite a bit higher than the 6100 though, I'll see what I can do now that I know OP doesn't need a GPU!

prebuilts are terrible to upgrade. they would need to buy another power supply to the computer because the one inside isn't going to provide enough power.
your other link is different for everyone. take a screen shot.

oh weird i didnt know it was specific to me lol. and ya the all in one isn't a good deal...just in the budget pretty much lol.

ofc the price can go down a bit since the OS can probably be gotten cheaper elsewhere and probably a couple other things as well.

also what video card is it you have you are wanting to use?

It's a quick reference point... and it's accurate enough to support my claim.
