There are a couple things wrong with your build...

1) PSU is far too low to support that build.
2) 8 sticks of 2gb ram? you realize your mobo only has 4 slots right?

Why the i7 2600k? Do you plan to overclock your cpu? If yes why not spring for a better cooler since you are spending so much, perhaps a liquid cooler. If no, why bother getting the 2600k?

just read this, did you end up getting 4x sticks of 2gb ram? it would be better to go for 2x 4gb sticks to leave room for upgrading

yup i ended up getting 4x 2 gig ram sticks. i think i will upgrade them to 4x 4 gb sticks in 2 weeks i would have got them originally but i already picked them out before because i wasnt planning on building a new computer just upgrading the old one

that's constructive...

but not really that wrong,
you could get a lot more performance for your money
the V8 cooler weighs a TON and can stress your mobo, and doesn't cool nearly as well as many other less retardly huge/heavy sinks.
you should get a z68 board if you are dead set on the 2600k, but not sure why not a 2700k if you are going that route.
the 2500k is 100$ cheaper, doesn't do hyperthreading though so if you are purchasing for large scale video/audio editing it's not the way to go, but you got a 500 gig HDD and 4 gigs of ram so i don't think you are doing a lot of video/audio work anyway.

570 isn't bad, you can get more for your money. 6950 frozr III will be cheaper, and oc/unlock to higher, though it's warmer/louder
case is preference but i would recommend a Carbide 400r/500r if you are going with the 100 dollar budget area.

your psu/ram/HDD are fine, if you are settling for a 1 card only  setup (most users only use one card). if you are going for a multi gpu setup, you would want a higher wattage psu, one can be recommended to you if you would like.

you are so fucking useless it hurts.

i got suspended for this. cry more L4d you tell the guy that 8 dimms of ram isn't enough. and then report me for calling you useless. I stand by it, you should NOT be allowed to post in these forums.

he will never end up using the 8 so it's fine, at least not hurting him any.

not sure what you posted suggestions for.. what do you need to buy and what's your budget, we can try to minimize the damages, or if you want to send the stuff you bought back we could build you a stronger gaming pc. really up to OP

well heres what i have actually ordered thus far

Im not really hard up for cash to be honest. so i could spend a decent amount more if necessary. Im looking for suggestions on what could make it a lot better.
Basically i just want input on what to get to play games without having to worry about upgrading it for awhile.
No im not trolling i had an original plan of upgrading the old computer i have with that ram and other items. I decided to build a new one instead and instead of my brother picking new ram he decided to stick with those ones.

Other than the i7 and the doubt that that large of a cooler would fit with 4 DIMMs, it looks fine.

unless you wanna mail it back just stick with it, it's alot more money then you could have paid for the same gaming performance, there is really no point to upgrading what you have there, would just be spending more money for shit you don't really need.
to make it better:
get a psu that can handle sli
get another 570 i guess.... (i would return the one you have now and get 6950s) // alternatly you could return your 2600k for a 2500k, return the 570 buy a 580 and keep your current psu.
get a cooler that will handle a decent overclock, corsair water unit or a noctua hn-d14, for your current setup that cooler is pretty much a waste, you don't need an oc for one card, but suit yourself.

if you just want to spend money, i could use a mobo, mine fried when my psu went bad, upgrading your comp is pretty much just that.

That is more than enough... IMO you should have gotten a larger psu to support sli'd gpu's, but other than the ram thing, it's a pretty solid build. Still wondering if you're planning to oc the cpu.

I see, well since you're getting the 2600k (unlocked), you're paying more for the ability to overclock, so imo you might as well do it. You can oc it to 4 GHz pretty easily since stock voltage can support that. You can find guides on youtube and google, it's pretty simple.

As for ram, you don't necessarily need more ram since 8gb is really all you need, but 2x 4gb sticks over 4x 2 sticks would leave room for upgrades in the future. Also I have heard that, although unconfirmed, 2 dual channel sticks run more efficiently than 4... Not sure if that is true or not. And your psu should be fine I think... I would get a larger one to be safe, and you would definitely want to look into a higher watt one if you plan to buy another gpu.

No offense, but that build is so full of fail. If I weren't drinking and about to get laid I'd show/tell you why...maybe in the morning if I remember...

I, also, just noticed that the first picture has 4 kits of 2 sticks of RAM...
