evga is just a reference pcb board, With reference cooling, With reference voltage regulators.

The twin frozr III's, Are a non reference pcb, With dual fans & heat pipes, And i think the 580 version has some crazy 16 phase vrm

Lets you oc like a madman, While staying cooler than the evga

What games are you going to be playing?

The 580 should max out most of anything stock.

Shouldnt really have to oc to max those.

You could run 900mhz core easily enough though, with minor voltage increases.

P07H34D claimed that BF3 uses 2.4GB of VRAM for him, so I would get the 3GB version!
