+1

Example would be to not go and spend $2000 on a tv when you can buy new(used) ones for a fraction of that or you can buy a cheaper one that is just as nice for also a fraction lol..

Shit for $1.5k you could have two big ass tvs right next to eachother :p

for $1.5K the only 2 TVs I'd buy would be 2 42" ST30s ($700 each... $999 for the 50"). If not, a Samsung PND7000 > any 2 TV option under 1500 bucks.

Which is only cool if you need a TV for the bedroom and living room,I guess..

Well I bought my wife a new ring which costed another $2000 so I definitely need something preferably under $1000, anymore suggestions lol.. I really like that Panasonic ST30 50" though.

Well I wish I lived in San Diego.  My parents go there all the time to buy used TVs and cars from Japanese people who are temporarily staying here for their job and need to quickly sell their things off.  I mean even just the other day they got an essentially brand new 50 inch Sony for $200..  Craig's list isn't too reliable here in Arizona.  Most of the stuff I've gone to check out from the ads turned out to be shit.

How? I love Arizona. I love the 120 degree heat with no humidity, I love having no snow, etc. Aside from the random inbred rednecks that you can't seem to escape, Arizona is nice.

That is pretty sexy :D

Well I'm reviving this thread to get a couple last suggestions. I have a few thousand in the bank at the moment, but I'm just going to wait until this weekend to buy the TV and I willing to spend my entire paycheck I get this Friday for it (about $1,500)!
