the 2nd one is dual-core, the first one isn't... The only reason you'd go with AMD is if you'd want to add more than 4 gigs of ram. but 4 gigs, with a decent dedicated video card and dual core processor, should be decent enough for most games.

There is no need to bump your post... anyway.. I'd go with the dual-core. not really needed, but sure makes a difference in how much you can enjoy even the basic programs on your system.
