After rewiring the fans like 10 times I finally figured it out and got the rgb to sync correctly... lian li makes nice stuff but holy crap they need 1 universal fan hub and 1 universal fan plug...
couple after thoughts on this set up.
#1 I should have gone with a higher quality x670 or x870 motherboard even though the Asus Strix b650-A is still nice and works just fine.
#2 I should have gone with 140mm case fans instead of 120 to close up some of the gaps in the case.

played some Warhammer40k space marine 2 on this rig for a few hours and holy crap the performance was amazing. maxed out settings 2160p 100+fps. smooth as hell... better than my 5950x/7900xtx rig.
sucks that this rig isn't going to be mine.

Note to anyone who is building an am5 system.
There is a defect/bug that some boards (maybe all not sure) cannot run 4 dimms at 6000mhz or more. this one included. you can run 2 dimms at 6000mhz apparently but not 4, and there is a fix in the bios settings that I haven't tried. not that big of a deal as I run all 4 dimms at 5200mhz and its stable as can be. so if you are planning on building Am5 know that u might not be able to run 4 dimms at 6000mhz. hoping that a future bios update will fix this issue.

Good work, looks clean. Not an RGB fan, but the mono red is pretty slick. How the noise levels?

Thanks, still planning on cleaning up the wires more before I give it to my sister. this thing is very quiet, the fans rev up a little when loading but even then its still very quiet compared to my rigs. temps stay below 60 on both cpu and gpu.
