Flash your bios to the latest.

Drop in a 5700X3D
Buy a 4070S

Get another two sticks of your model memory kit.
Upgrade done for under 1000 and your fps go zoooom

if you're looking for a balanced system using a current top end gpu with no bottleneck then 7950x or 7950x3d

intel is just not a good way to go but if you dare then 14900k

no need to drop 5k on a thread ripper to play games... lmao.

any other current gen cpu will have a small bottleneck on curent gen top end gpu's

having your gpu a little stronger than your cpu isn't a problem for gaming or casual use.

I juat decided to go the prebuilt way.
I also lied, current cpu is Ryzen 7 5800x.

But no matter, still a big upgrade and ill just sell this system to a buddy on the lowlow so he can finally have a PC.

Appreciate all the advice gents.

I would stay away from Pre-Built since you will most likely be getting 2nd Tier Parts and not precisely what you would want.

Also depending on your location (If you live in the US) you may be able to just go to a Microcenter (They have everything you can think of) and they can also build the computer for you (Normally Done in a day) and they also offer Warranties per Part or as a whole.

IF you can build your computer and have no issues I would reconsider getting your own parts.

It'll be alright.
I've had PCs from Cyberpower before with no issues.

If something does fail, hopefully it will fail within the warranty period.
And if not, then I'll replace it with what I want. I just don't feel like building this go-around.

I would go to Microcenter, but the closest one is a 3HR drive into the DC area. I think I'd rather run head-first into a tree than deal with all those non-driving fucksticks
