Is the pump the lowest point in the cooling system? Can you bleed air from the system and fill new coolant liquid? (Assuming no cause closed loop nonsense)

I have a 240aio nzxt kraken, and a new-ish installed 13700k(18 months), it's running incredibly hot lately, from what I can see the pump isn't dead and running fine, but I'm getting crazy high temps (75ish at idle, 90+ while gaming)

Is this a thermal paste issue? or a cpu issue? like wtf is going on :(

nzxt cam says my liquid is 65celsius

also I live in the south US so it's hot here for ambient temp

I would disassemble the AIO CPU Block and clean the CPU / Repaste and then assemble the CPU block as instructed via manual. I would like to state though that 240mm for a 13700k is really pushing it if you ask me. That is a lot of wattage for 240mm of surface area to cool especially if you have it without any power limits set on PL1 & PL2 I would recommend lowering whatever it is to 225w or 200w and that way you can still get good performance but with less power hungry heat loads on a 240mm, I would recommend looking for a 280mm or 360mm aio for in the future especially now with the 14700k having 20 cores and most likely that number is only going to grow. It's now like the 10700k which only had 8 cores with a much lower power profile to manage.

Anyways not sure how old this topic is but figured i'd put my two cents in on the conversation. Cheers!
