I already have the PSU, Mobo, Case, Fan, and SSD. I did buy the RAM, but I put them into my current computer since it was a hell of an upgrade. So I can still upgrade/change RAM.

Thoughts?

I most definitely would not run a 2700x in that motherboard, or with that cooler.
Go for 3kmhz 15cl ram, it makes a difference.
Don't get a mechanical drive unless you're just using it for backup purposes IMO. They slow, big, and use power. Just get a bigger SSD if you need more space.
You don't need to pay $100 for windows. Download and install for free from microsoft's website, buy a key on ebay/kinguin for $5.

What’s wrong with that mobo and cpu? So get a bigger ssd as well? I’ve never used more than 25% of my hard drive space. But I can. I wasn’t planning on purchasing windows. I just added from a while ago and never took off.

If this was me it would be one of these two...

Later on a better cooler and more storage if need be.

It won't have the vrm to keep up, if you start overclocking it will melt itself.

I was told to go with the new cpu, the one I picked and for it to go with the mobo I bought. I could try to find the thread if need be. But I’m sorry, I don’t know what vrm stands for. (Virtual running memory?) no clue. I don’t plan on overclocking and plan to stream games such as: OSRS, league of legends, rocket league, maybe d2, division, and other similar games.

VRM - Voltage regulator modual. Consists of three parts, cap/choke/driver mosfets which consists of three more parts. (driver IC and 2 mosfets).
It's purpose is to step down the voltage from PSU (12v) to what you cpu needs (IE:1-1.35v). Low quality VRM's have Vdrops which can cause instability in oc's.

If your not overclocking go with the 2700x But understand overclocking its super simple. Out of the box you could get a 2700 and make it a 2700x or more.
All your game titles (no offense here) are a joke, The hardware I linked is overkill for it.

So if I went with the 2700 and my current mobo, would i be good? One of the biggest issues I thought I would have would be picking the graphics cards because I thought the mobo I had was a nice piece.

You go 2700 if your overclocking.
2700x if your not for its default overclock.

That mobo will suffice but I strongly suggest you buy MY mobo regardless, cheaper and better quality.
