Ok so budget gaming desktop is what I'm buying, my old rig is still running a Deneb 965BE cpu and a 7850 2gb gpu so it's time to upgrade.
I play pubg, space engineers, wildlands, and killing floor 2 primarily and will only ever be gaming in 1080p I would imagine but I do have a wide curved 144hz monitor if I so choose to try 1440p.

Theme is red and black because there are currently no white AM4 motherboards available in Canada or at a reasonable budget price nor many white components.

Also I'd like this to be micro ATX as I'm not looking to use another mid tower.
Also I'm an AMD guy, so we can leave the blue team out of this ;)
I will be doing a mild overclock on the cpu.

So far I've settled on
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 CPU (232$)
Memory: 16gb Gskill ripjaw V series ddr4 3000mhz cl16 (138$)
Cooling: CM hyper 212 evo cooler (BNIB spare I had already)
Case: InWin 301 black/red or Antec P6

Everything else below is open discussion. Feel free to lmk what you would pick and why.

Motherboards
MSI b450m gaming plus mobo(112$)
Gigabyte Aorus b450m mobo (109$)
Asus TUF b450m plus gaming (124$)
Unfortunately the Mortar is out of stock or I would have included it.

SSD
Crucial BX500 2.5" 480gb ssd(75$)
Crucial MX500 2.5" 500gb ssd(87$)
Crucial CT500Mx500 m.2 80mm 500gb (86$)

GPU
MSI RX580 mk2 OC Armor black/red 8gb 1.34ghz (319$)
XFX RX580 DFD OC black 8gb 1.36ghz (320$)
Powercolor RedDevil RX590 8gb 1.47ghz/1.58ghz boost(350$)

I'm willing to drop the extra 30$ if the 30$ is worth the performance increase to the 590, especially if I decide to try 1440p. Thoughts?

SeaSonic 520w full modular psu (75$)
SeaSonic 620w full modular psu (90$)

Included two psu incase it would be recommended to go 600w with the 590 or 520w with the 580.

Thanks for any I fo and help you can offer.
I'm buying this as soon as I can settle on the components.

You really limit your color option with microATX, mid towers are the standard size. The only difference is a couple inches in height, but you'd be better off with an NZXT H500 IMO, they have a red and black option for less than the fractal case.

I just kinda liked the idea of a shorter slimmer tower this time around if possible.
The H500 is the same price as the inwin and the P6 so price wise its not a big deal but I do like the red/black h500.

Also ATX motherboards don't offer me anything more that I need from an mATX board for this build but tend to be more expensive.

Theres no ATX boards with color schemes for AM4 that aren't black focused unless I'm willing to pay 200$ for a titanium x470.

I do like the psu shroud on the h500.

I don't mind them.
Helps hide cables in some cases and empty parts of the case.
Especially in a budget build with no custom loop etc..

Mini ITX comes with higher costs with no real performance boosts eliminating budget build.

They look a lot better when they are part of the frame IMO (NZXT H500, Phanteks P300/P350x, etc)
They do a nice job of hiding cables, and they streamline airflow to provide better thermals (albeit only slightly).

Not a big fan of the ram, not attractive and not gskill.
I understand its 3200 but I'd prefer the stuff I already have selected. It's also 22$ cheaper.

Case is 15$ more, I'd sooner the inwin although it is a nice case.

I'll never use a non modular psu in a build, especially not a micro build in cases where cable management might be tight.
Semi modular minimum.

Mostly curious in regards to my questions for the parts I listed.

Also as much of a bargain as it seems, I wont be going with the Asrock board.
