dude's full of shit now though. clock speeds are better, latencies are way better, compatibility is up, cost/perf is hugely better... but still, if I had a 2500k I would wait until Zen 2 which looks really amazing possibly about breaking even with Intel in single core while bringing more cores and a better SMT implementation at a much better price.
