I've been away from the progress processors, gpus and everything have seen in the past decade and wish to know what you guys would spend
1000$ to 2500$ on a pc build. I'm a big fan of silent builds (decent cooling system and sound isolation).

I'll give my penies to you for a good advice. I am currently looking at specs and what people sell them for used or not (looking for "deals").
And so far my computer would be about 10 times better in all of its aspects compared to 6 years ago. Not bad.

Also taking advice on monitoring
programs (gpu: afterburner still good?) etc etc

I will scratch some fg around to hand
them to good fellas that took the time
to answer. If you give me reference, I will
make sure to share dah lovin.

This will give ya an idea of the current crop... the next GPUs are out for pre order already, and the next Intel CPUs will be out in 2-3 months.

/e Would help to know what country, for correct pricing.

Canada East Coast. Didnt think it made that much a difference as
I dont mind excluding shipping prices but more info is always better. Thank you

I also never cared enough to buy more than a 40$ mouse... I even prefer this old 7$ mouse (just checked the current pricing of this dell junk xD). I traveled too much to ever care
About my settup tbh (so I play garbage games, too), but I'd like a computer that can both: project movies, render 3d projects and gaming altogether. Maybe I have to put more money on the table... I wouldn't mind.
I'm all ears!

Same build, Canada prices... https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/XdPpD2

/e I use a $10 WalMart mouse, but most folk seem to like the ones with lots of buttons and tricks.

I do go a little crazy on keyboard though... Ducky Shine. They are pretty much indestructible. https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=3541

if u want silent there is a couple of things u can get

most high end gpu's have a 0db mode so the fans are turned off when at idle temps, some psu's have this aswell, one of them is corsair RM series, but there is also a fanless psu - SeaSonic PRIME 600 Titanium

fractal design cases have some nice sound dampening material on the panels and front, helps abit

and for the cpu u can get a aio cooler and replace the fans with some silent ones

Recommend waiting for RTX 2080 graphics card which uses new Turing algorithm instead of Pascal, as well as market to settle when new cpus come out

u serious right now?

most people don't want/need more buttons or tricks.
They need a good sensor and switches so the mouse lasts and responds well.
But then again you don't play games cause as you lack the reflexes.

No that was solely directed at your stupid remark and you, hence the quote.
