my cpu seems like its not exceeding 60 degrees and i play overwatch right now cpu usage is 100%

i have a 4790k cpu its like my cpu doesnt use its full potenial out of no where normally i have 180 fps normally now i have 10-60 fps

help please i give fg to the one who solves the problem

Sounds like the heat sink is not doing it's job. Thermal paste needs redone?


/e Or CPU or radiator fans, not doing their job. Radiator pump not functioning properly.


It sounds like your CPU is throttling, which is usually due to temps getting too high.

NO.

Your CPU is getting too hot. For some reason your cooling is not working as well as it should.

/e IF your CPU was dead, the computer wouldn't be working at all.

Køling til 4790K virker ikke korrekt. Teh 4790K bliver for varmt.
4790K sænker for at beskytte sig selv. Når kølingen er løst, vil computeren fungere korrekt igen

If you have an air cooler on the 4790K, then you need to clean the dust out of the heatsink, then redo the thermal paste, and make sure the fan(s) are working properly.

If you have an AIO water cooler on the 4790K, clean the dust out of the radiator and make sure the fans and pump are working properly, and redo the thermal paste.

Why is Ghot telling the dude his CPU is throttling over and over if it's reading 60C? lol

Cause he's old, his comprehension skills are lacking, that or he just can't see through them beer goggles anymore.

Cause the CPU is running 100% and all of a sudden while it's running 100% the frames dropped a ton. AND the CPU is ONLY showing 60C.

so your saying the cpu timings can't be off and its 100% throttled.
The cpu doesn't throttle till long after 60 C bro, thsi isn't amd life.
