Things from my old build that I'll be using with the new build (still open to suggestions on upgrading these):
Corsair Force 3 240gb SSD got it 2013 or 2014
Seagate Barracuda HDD 1TB 7200 rpm got it 2012
Western Digital 250gb HDD got it in 2005 lol
BenQ G2750 27" LCD 1080p 60hz monitor got it 2013 or 2014
AOC e2440Va 24" LED 1080p 60hz monitor got it 2012
Got a keyboard, mouse and headset that I'm happy with also atm. That's pretty much my budget (2500$), I'm not in a rush to purchase as the 1080ti might drop more in price soon. I don't need an operation system, sound or wire less card. Don't worry about shipping, if it's under 2500$ I'll be on budget with the shipping.
This build will be used for gaming primarily, including FPS games. I'll also be working on editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, After Effects etc but that is secondary.
I just went with the recommended stuff when putting this list together, I don't entirely know what I'm doing, I put together my current build but not without faults as I'm running a 1000w psu atm lol.
I'm dead set on a 1080ti (doesn't have to be AORUS) and that Asus monitor, would prefer to keep them as is.
Is that a good motherboard? Not really sure how it compared with the gaming 3 and the gaming 5 version, there are so many motherboards which all look pretty much the same to me tbh, would love some input on that.
Corsair Vengeance vs G.Skill? I think I should probably have 16gb but should I get 3200, 3600 or more?
PCPartPicker says that the max watt usage is about 440w, should I try and get a 550w instead of the 650w?
I'm not going to maintain a water cooling system so the Cooler Master Hyper 212 was the recommended pick, any thoughts on that?
I think that covers just about everything, thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and hopefully offer advice if needed
