Here's what I was working on building, but not sure if improvements can be made to the list.

Budget is $2K USD.
Zipcode is 40229
I want to be able to run Overwatch, and Fortnite at 144+ Fps easily. (Low settings, doesnt matter)
Other than those two games, I just play random shit.

re-use ur case, psu, hdd's

you wouldnt want ryzen if you plan on achieving 144+ and not dipping below it

Again this will run well over 144 FPS on ultra settings for overwatch

Same for fortnite, that game is optimized pretty damn well so you can play at high settings and achieve maximum fps unlike pubg

I'm probably going to go with this, but get a 1070 instead and upgrade it later down the road. A 1070 should get me 144fps right?

Not sure where Fortnite stands on fps, but I can get 144 on Overwatch with my 1060. The i7 is also overkill if you only plan on gaming. i5 will have same clock speeds, just no multi-threading (games don't generally utilize more than 4 cores anyways).

Kind of depends on the monitor.
