Okay, this PC will be for my brother. He's currently interested in building something for the sole purpose of iRacing. He doesn't use a pc for anything else and doesn't believe he will ever. Do you have any specific preferred components?: Anything, best bang for my buck
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Will be using a headset when racing so don't necessarily need speakers, will also be hard wired to the internet.
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: stock cooling
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: I will need monitor, mouse, and keyboard

We would still like to see a budget so we know what quality of hardware and what monitor refresh rate/resolution to aim for.



This is also a no go. To much changes will happen within the next couple of months so the buy lists we will make will be outdated.

This. 2 months and you could end up spending $500 less or something.

Let's say shoot for 500-600$ if possible.
And buying within the next 2 weeks.
