Most ppl would add a 1TB hard drive for storage. Most would go with a 27" monitor (1440p)

i assume you will be overclocking? and ur looking for red/black or bling bling theme?

also ur priority is wrong, get storage first and whatever overpriced mouse/kb later, dunno if u actually buy blu ray dvd's and use the drive either.

idk if u have a specific reason for the 300r window case, it's a shame to get it tho with the blings in ur build. The shitty filmsy windows with fan holes ruin it.
feel free to get it ofc, if you have a hard on for it cos cases are personal preference anyway. p400 and s340 are nice cases as well.
if budget too tight @ 1.7k just downgrade back to 1080 i guess and pimp out on the rest of the parts

No preference on the looks what so ever. Know nothing about the bits I chosen except i7 and 1080 GTx being best things ? So tweak the hard drive get random case and mouse and keyboard and we're good to go?
Will overclocking be necessary?

Because it is a better gpu and it's cheaper.

Get a R5 1600/1600x and B350 if you wanna save money.
