Im legit getting everything for free except for the Motherboard, power supply, and CPU cooler

CPU: i56600k (getting free)

GPU: Gtx 1080 (getting free)

Mobo: Asus Z170-A ATX DDR4 (buying today)

PSU: Evga SuperNova 750 G2 80+ Gold (already have)

RAM: DDR4 2400 16GB (2x8GB sticks) (dunno the brand but getting free)

HDD: 250GB westgate or some shit (already have)

CPU COOLER: Cooler Master hyper 212 evo with 120mm fan (buying today)


Is this a decent build and will everything run ok?

Get a cryorig h7 instead of evo 212.
Get an mx300 or evo 850 ssd.

Z170 right?

i have cooler master made by HAF( i dont know shit about cases but i paid like 50 bucks for it like 3 or 4 years ago)
ill grab the h7 i suppose, and im just gonna replace my current hdd with a 1TB reg HD

My PSU should have no problem handling this right?

Should support the ATX board and the cooler.
You still very much want to have an ssd as main drive. For OS, programs and maybe some favorite games. Much faster boot and loading. You can keep the 250gb hdd or 1tb hdd as well as storage disk.
Yeah it's more than enough I guess full load your system will pull 350w ish.

i showed a nice friend from work a bundle that i was going to buy ( i7-6800k, HyperX Savage 16gb DDR4 3000 (2x 8gb), MSI X99A) and he said he had the items listed above for free just collecting dust in his closet and told me to just to buy a MOBO and CPU cooler.

All this hardwares fine the fact ur getting it free and its pretty decent is great free pc kicks the shit out of mine
