Hey there!

Just looking to make some upgrades soon, trying to milk out as much gaming performance as possible with an upgrade or two.

Playing Diablo 3, Runescape, and Elder Scrolls: Online currently.

Here is my current build:

CPU - AMD FX-6300

RAM - 8GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz

MOBO - ASUS M5A97 (942 Socket)

GFX - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti

HDD - 1TB Seagate

Willing to spend maybe $300 max on these upgrades.

You aren't going to get much for 300

Your board won't support ddr4

Guess you could get a used 980ti

Your on a dead platform. the most you can get out of this is if you upgrade the gpu/cpu after upgrading to a SSD.

The SSD will only aid in load times.
Going with a 8350 cpu will give you 20-25% gains
As for achieving more FPS upgrading the GPU is where you want to put your money.
(however going high end on the gpu will create a bottle neck with either cpu)

Getting more ram will not help you.

Your better off saving your money for now and work towards a new system.

Cheap SSD for OS = 50$
8350 CPU used = 50-75$
Rest into a used gpu

Please stop telling people to pm you.
You give such horrid advise often and I feel you do this to avoid being publicly outed for it.

I mean you literally told him to buy more ram as if it would help him at all which it won't
Then proceed to tell him to buy a gpu that would be held back by the cpu.

Obsolete would imply your advise was good at one point but its wasn't.
