One thing I have struggled with greatly is the battle of liquid or fan cooled.
Thoughts? Opinions? Pros/cons?

Looks good

Air: a lot better performance/price
Water: Aesthetics, slightly cooler, may lower case ambient temp.

850w, do you plan on SLI?
I would recommend evga g2 750-850w for sli. (I do have an rmx 750w)

I know some evga pascal heatsink versions had trouble cooling vram. Asus or MSI would be where my money would go this generation.

Not going SLI right now, but keeping it open for the future.
As far as the Heatsink goes, you are saying MSI or Asus?
I'm probably just going to stick with fan cooled.

Ty I did get the dual fan cooler instead

Also switching to the i7 7700k (Its only $100 more so why not lol)

sweet anytime dude i mean the dual-fan one isnt that much more and 100$ for 4threads+4htcores is worth it imo.

how so... if its a gaming rig theres litterally no reaosn for it.
unless user streams its a total waste of money and if op streams its still only a tiny gain.

you have a point i just talt you know if games start using more than 4cores in the near future might be useful but a point indeed dint ask him if hes streaming.

Also op should buy additional case fans.
seems like no one suggests these but seriously come on.... even cheap ones help greatly for air flow/temps.

I am building around not having to build a new one/upgrade for some time.

I also have a couple extra case fans thats why I did not put them on the list
