i will be buy a 4k monitor after building this, currently i have ASUS VS248H-P 24" Full HD 1920x1080 2ms (2 of these running)
samsung ssd evo 120 (OS, Some games)
Seagate ST1000DM005 (black)
rosewill hive - 750w bronze
cpu cooler - hyper 212 evo
* im not sure what the difference is between gold/bronze now that im looking at my psu, i should possibly upgrade this also?
You should consider higher refresh rate on your new monitor.
I like the sweet point 1440p and 144-165hz.
You could also consider a larger ssd.
The difference between bronze and gold is the power efficency.
A bronze will be 82%+ and gold 87%. So 5% less power will be used, which you will save on your electricity bill.
Most cases the quality followes aswell. Like heat generation, noise and longlivity.
It's not a must upgrade if it's an okay quality psu.
You could reuse the hyper212 you can do mild OC with it.
As for the water vs air. I find the aesthetic on watercooling miles ahead. And it will transfer the head to the radiator and directly out of case. While in a poor airflow case an air cooler would raise the ambient temperature in the case if poor airflow.
These closed Aio loops are safe. Used them in almost 15 builds the past 2 years. Easy to install and warranty if you somehow would be able to break it, where ruined parts will be replaced by corsair.
Asus do have excellent customer service as well. No fan boy here, I currently use msi motherboard and GPUs myself from last gen. They got similar features, quality and performance. But asus design this year makes it suitable for multiple color schemes.
